As European citizens we want to ensure that education remains a priority in these times of crisis. We are utilizing the prerogative the EU allows us through the European Citizens Initiative (ECI) to collect 1 million signatures to change policy by calling on the European Commission to make a legislative proposal for a topic we believe is important and vital for improving our lives.The objective of our initiative is to ensure that resources will be available to be invested in education. This will allow combating inequality by providing equal opportunities for education and training to all young people in Europe, to ensure adequate and appropriate infrastructures and tools for high quality education in times of crisis.
